Trump: Russia Has Made a Major Concession by Not Occupying All of Ukraine

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Euronews via Mehr news Agency, U.S. President Donald trump told Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre that Russia has made a fairly significant concession to Kyiv by not taking control of the entire territory of Ukraine.
He added that Washington has exerted considerable pressure on Russia, which has led Russian president Vladimir Putin to now speak about reaching an agreement.
The U.S. president also emphasized his belief that “both sides,” referring to Russia and Ukraine, desire peace.
Referring to a deadline he set for reaching an agreement, Trump warned that if no deal is achieved by than, Washington’s approach could change dramatically.
The Trump administration proposed a 28-point plan aimed at ending the war between Ukraine and Russia.Under this plan, Kyiv would cede parts of its territory to Moscow in exchange for security guarantees and accept restrictions on its military capabilities.
The European Union and other ukrainian allies have reacted negatively to the U.S. proposal, describing it as an implementation of Russia’s demands. The White House stated that Trump’s plan reflects the interests of both parties involved in the conflict and ensures their security concerns are addressed.
