Russia Reports Repelling Ukrainian Drone Attack

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems successfully targeted a total of 33 Ukrainian drones across several regions in Russia last night.
The report states that 13 drones were shot down over Belgorod, 10 over Voronezh, four over Lipetsk, and one over Bryansk. Additionally, five more drones were destroyed above the black Sea waters.
The Russian ministry of Defense emphasized that its air defense units remained on high alert and effectively repelled the extensive Ukrainian air assault.
The military conflict between Moscow and Kyiv continues as former U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration has proposed a 28-point plan to end hostilities. Under this plan, Kyiv would cede part of its territory to Moscow in exchange for security guarantees and agree to limitations on its military capabilities.
The European Union and other allies of Ukraine have reacted negatively to the U.S. proposal, describing it as an implementation of Russia’s demands. The White House stated that Trump’s plan reflects the interests of both sides in the conflict and ensures mutual benefits.
