Zelensky Advisor Outlines Red Lines in Ukraine Peace Talks

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, an adviser to the ukrainian president declared Wednesday that Ukraine will not recognize the legitimacy of Russia’s occupation of any of its territories.
The Kyiv official added that Ukraine has set clear red lines in peace negotiations. “We will not undertake any constitutional amendments as part of any potential peace agreement,” he said.
Ukraine and the European Union are consulting with the United States to modify elements of former President Trump’s proposed peace plan,but considerable changes appear unlikely.
In recent remarks, the U.S. president stated that Washington’s initially 28-point peace proposal for Ukraine has now been reduced to 22 points.
The Guardian previously reported that Ukraine had succeeded in revising parts of the U.S. plan by removing some unacceptable demands and reducing its provisions from 28 points to 19.
Last week, it was revealed that Washington presented a 28-point peace initiative which faced criticism from several Kyiv partners in Europe. On November 14, consultations between the U.S. and Ukraine were held in Geneva regarding Washington’s plan.
