Zelensky’s⁤ adviser on “red lines in Ukraine peace talks”: No constitutional amendments will be made as part of any potential peace agreement.

According to⁣ the English section of webangah News ⁤Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, an adviser⁤ to the ukrainian president declared Wednesday that Ukraine will not recognize the ⁢legitimacy of Russia’s occupation ⁤of any of its territories.

The Kyiv official added that Ukraine has set clear red lines in peace negotiations. “We ‌will not undertake any constitutional amendments as part of any potential peace ⁣agreement,” he said.

Ukraine and the European Union ‍are consulting with the United States to modify elements ⁢of former President Trump’s proposed peace plan, but considerable changes appear ‍unlikely.

In recent remarks, the U.S. president stated that ⁣Washington’s initially 28-point⁣ peace proposal for Ukraine has now been reduced to ⁤22 points.

The Guardian previously reported that Ukraine had succeeded in revising parts of ⁢the‌ U.S. plan by removing some unacceptable ⁢demands and reducing its provisions from 28 points to 19.

Last week, it was revealed that Washington presented a 28-point peace initiative which faced criticism from several Kyiv partners in Europe. On November 14, consultations between⁢ the U.S.‍ and Ukraine were held in Geneva regarding Washington’s plan.
