Media Activists: Trump’s Policies Are Driving the World into Chaos
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Palestine Online, Arab and international media personalities condemned the policies and actions of U.S. President Donald Trump. They described his approach as a deviation from established U.S.policies in the region, favoring the political doctrine of “America First.”
The joint statement noted that ongoing conflicts in Venezuela,Yemen,occupied Palestine,China,and NATO reveal an aspect of disorder and an incomprehensible trend in his foreign policy.
Signed by numerous Arab journalists from the region as well as American intellectuals, the statement emphasized that Trump’s policies neither represent conventional isolationism nor clear expansionist imperialism. Nor do they reflect a practical embodiment of the “America First” slogan. Rather, they resemble more closely the tactics employed by kings, emperors, and tsars in ancient history.
The statement described Trump’s erratic policies as violations amounting to political self-destruction against rules established by major powers after World War II.
It added that such an approach will thrust both the region and the world into a period of chaos.
The statement concluded by warning that this chaotic policy style will only fuel greater violence amid already turbulent regional conditions.
