Hamas Responds to New Tel Aviv Movements in the West Bank

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, the Islamic resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement condemning the approval of a new draft law by the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee of the Israeli Knesset. The legislation allows settlers to directly purchase lands in the occupied West Bank. Hamas described this as a new crime that violates the legal status of the West bank as occupied territory.
Hamas emphasized that this action by the occupying government represents an attempt to impose a new reality through advancing plans for Judaization and annexation of the West Bank. The movement stressed that all Israeli measures aimed at Judaizing this region and Jerusalem, and also expelling its residents, are null and void under international law, and will never alter Palestine’s true identity or Palestinian rights over their land.
The group called on the Arab League, United Nations, and all international bodies to take immediate and effective action against these violations. It urged enforcing international resolutions related to the occupied West Bank and compelling Israel’s terrorist regime to halt settlement projects and ongoing assaults against Palestinians, their land, and holy sites.
