Identity of Suspect in White House Shooting Revealed

According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and Al Jazeera, NBC News quoted US law enforcement officials saying the suspect in the shooting near the white House has been initially identified as an Afghan citizen.
Law enforcement sources stated that the FBI is conducting preliminary investigations into the shooting as a potential terrorist act.
The FBI director announced that all federal and local law enforcement forces have been mobilized to identify those responsible for the incident.
He added that former President Trump informed the FBI this case is a matter of national security.
the Washington Police Chief emphasized that investigations are still at an early stage, and motives behind the incident remain unclear.
He also confirmed one person has been detained and no other suspects have been identified so far.
Reuters reported that an FBI-lead Joint Terrorism Task Force is heading up inquiries into the shooting incident.
