Hong Kong Fire Death Toll Rises to 44; Video Included
media report that the death toll from a large fire in a residential complex in Hong Kong has risen to 44, with dozens injured and 279 still missing.
The English section of webangah News Agency cited Sputnik via Mehr News Agency, reporting today that the local newspaper South China Morning Post confirmed the number of fatalities from the fire at a Hong Kong residential complex has increased to 44.
The newspaper added that in addition to the 44 confirmed dead and dozens of injured, 279 peopel remain missing.
The massive fire broke out yesterday, Wednesday, across several high-rise residential blocks in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district in the northern part of the city.
