Putin Proposes Arming CSTO Member States

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-mayadeen, Russian President Vladimir putin emphasized on Thursday that cooperation with CSTO partners will continue to identify terrorist cells and cut off their funding channels.
speaking at the CSTO summit in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Putin proposed taking further measures to protect member states against threats related to details security.
He also suggested establishing a program to arm CSTO member forces with modern russian weapons.
The summit is being held at the Intimak Ordo State Residence in Bishkek. Putin is expected to attend the signing of final documents during the event.
At the end of his three-day visit to Kyrgyzstan-during which he met with his kyrgyz counterpart and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko-putin will address reporters.
