Trump Retaliates Against South Africa Over Trial of Zionist Regime

Donald Trump announced that⁤ South Africa will not be invited to the upcoming G20 summit in the United states, citing dissatisfaction with the country’s domestic and foreign policies, especially ⁣its pursuit of a ⁤case against Israel.

According to the⁣ English section of webangah News⁣ Agency, referencing Mehr News Agency and⁣ Al-Mayadeen, following reports from American media yesterday ⁤that South Africa would not be invited⁢ to participate in the 2026 G20 events hosted by the U.S., President Donald Trump confirmed that South Africa will not receive an invitation‍ to attend next year’s⁤ summit.

After washington boycotted last‌ week’s G20 leaders’ summit‌ in Johannesburg, South Africa’s capital, Trump stated‌ that South Africa would not be‌ invited to the 2026 G20 meeting⁢ scheduled for florida.

Yesterday evening on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “At the conclusion of the G20 summit, South Africa refused to hand‌ over chairmanship of the group to a senior U.S. embassy official present at the ‌closing ceremony. Therefore, by my order, South Africa will not receive an invitation for the 2026 G20 summit ⁢hosted next year in ⁣Miami, Florida.”

South Africa’s Response to U.S. Actions

The office of Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa, called Trump’s remarks regrettable and stated: “Due to America’s ⁢absence at last week’s‌ summit, all documents related to chairing the G20 were officially ⁣handed over ‍by one of our embassy officials to representatives at our Ministry of international⁣ Relations‍ and Cooperation.”

the presidential office added: “It is unfortunate that despite numerous efforts by Ramaphosa and his government to reset diplomatic ⁢ties‍ with the United States, Trump continues punitive‌ measures against‌ South‌ Africa based on false and distorted details about ‌our country.”

Since beginning his second term as U.S. president ‍in 2021,Trump has repeatedly criticized both domestic and ‌foreign policies of South African authorities. He claimed that “South africa‌ has shown it is unworthy of membership⁤ anywhere,” ‍adding that “we intend to immediately halt all aid” directed toward‌ it.

On November 19 this year (Gregorian date), The White House issued a statement confirming it would refrain from official negotiations concerning this year’s G20 Summit held in South Africa.

A South African official emphasized on November 21 that America’s absence‌ at Johannesburg’s G20 meeting will have no impact on proceedings.

The official also welcomed America’s decision-to ‍participate only in concluding ceremonies-and expressed Pretoria’s openness toward such engagement.
This week on November⁢ 21-22 (start dates for ‍reference), leaders convened for their annual Group 20 summit‌ in Johannesburg.

The administration under Donald Trump explained its⁢ position by stating⁤ that Pretoria’s priorities regarding trade cooperation and climate initiatives do not align with those of Washington-leading their president not⁤ to attend this event.

Tensions‌ between Trump’s ⁢government and Pretoria intensified after South Africa activated a ⁣case against Israel ‌before The Hague court. In December 2023 ⁤they formally filed charges accusing israel of⁢ genocide related actions ‍occurring within Gaza.

In October 2024 ledgers⁣ submitted detailed documents exceeding five hundred pages ⁣regarding claims made; Israel⁣ must present ‌counterarguments by January 12th‍ , 2026. Oral hearings are expected during 2027-with final judgment anticipated late 2027 or early 2028.

The International Court of Justice has ‌already issued three‍ provisional rulings ordering Israel cease alleged genocidal acts inside Gaza while allowing humanitarian ⁤aid access ‍but so far these requests have been defied by Israeli authorities.
