Displacement of Zionists Continues in Northern Occupied Palestine One Year After Ceasefire

Israeli media acknowledge that one year after the ceasefire between Hezbollah and the occupying regime, reconstruction in northern Israel is progressing slowly, with many Israelis still displaced.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr ⁣News Agency and Al-Manar,the Hebrew newspaper Israel Hayom reported that ‍one year after the cessation of hostilities with Hezbollah in Lebanon,rebuilding efforts in‌ northern israel are moving slowly. Although ‍Netanyahu’s cabinet is developing long-term reconstruction plans, it ⁣is estimated that returning to pre-war⁤ conditions will take around five years.

Israel Hayom added that in the town of Metula (Al-Mutallah),52 percent of residents have returned home. in Al-Manara, half of the inhabitants ​have yet to return, and a similar situation exists in Shlomi. ⁣in other towns like​ Adamit and ‍Maskaf Am, 40 percent remain displaced, while about 30 percent have not gone back to ⁢Kiryat Shmona.

Real estate experts report that roughly 700 apartments are for sale in⁢ Kiryat ⁣Shmona. Online ‌real estate platforms list over 200 homes for sale alongside ‍a comparable number available for rent.

The ‌report ⁢also highlights⁣ dire conditions for shops in Kiryat Shmona; nearly 40% remain closed. With⁣ thousands still ‌absent from their communities, many who have resumed work face looming economic collapse.
