Hezbollah Faction: Stopping the Zionist Regime Is the Right of the Lebanese People
The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament condemned israel’s recent attack on southern Beirut suburbs as a heinous crime threatening the security of all Lebanese. The statement was issued following a regular session chaired by Muhammad Raad,according to webangah News Agency.
Read by senior bloc member Hassan Ezzedine, the statement affirmed Lebanon’s right to take all necessary actions to halt enemy aggression and protect its national sovereignty. It stressed that Lebanon’s rights, security, dignity, and interests cannot be held hostage by an aggressive regime defying both international law and any government incapable of defending its sovereignty.
The statement added that the international community bears legal and political responsibility for failing to condemn israeli aggression against one of the United Nations founding countries. It highlighted that these international bodies have become false witnesses and accomplices in this crime while neglecting their duty to preserve Lebanon’s security and rightful demand for recovery of occupied lands.
The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc warned that one full year has passed since the ceasefire without Israel showing any commitment to halting attacks. Israeli crimes continue under suspicious cover and persistent US backing-despite violations of previously given guarantees. The enemy breaches ceasefire agreements even as Hezbollah exercises restraint, honoring its commitments for national interest at this stage. It also continues violating ceasefires in Gaza under frivolous pretexts.
In closing,the statement declared that “The blood of resistance martyrs and our army will force this criminal Zionist enemy into defeat and frustrate its expansionist goals.”
