Amnesty International: Israel Continues Genocide in Gaza Despite Ceasefire
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Al Jadeed, amnesty International’s report-based on multiple testimonies from Gaza residents and international studies, including United Nations findings-emphasizes that Israel imposes severe restrictions on food access and the restoration of vital services necessary for civilian survival.
The report notes that although humanitarian aid has reached the Gaza Strip in recent weeks,limited assistance to some individuals does not signify an end to genocide or a change in Israeli intent.
Amnesty International confirms that the war has caused widespread destruction across the region, demolishing entire neighborhoods and critical infrastructure.
Anes Kalamara, Secretary General of Amnesty International, warned in a statement accompanying the report that the ceasefire could create a “misleading and hazardous image” suggesting life is returning to normal in Gaza.
she added: “The world must not be deceived; Israel’s genocide has not ended.”
The institution reports that as the start of the ceasefire, at least 374 Palestinians-including 136 children-have been killed by ongoing Israeli attacks across various areas of Gaza.
