Russia Downs 136 Ukrainian Drones

according to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 136 Ukrainian drones were shot down across multiple Russian regions overnight.
The statement detailed that 46 drones were downed over Rostov, 30 over Saratov, 29 above Crimea, six in Bryansk, five in Volgograd, two near Fornich, two near Moscow, and one in Kursk.
The Ministry also noted that one drone was destroyed over Kaluga, twelve over the Black Sea, and two above the Sea of Azov.
It is worth noting that on February 21, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics in Donbass after criticizing Western disregard for Moscow’s security concerns.
Three days later, on February 24, Putin launched a military operation against Ukraine-termed by him as a “special operation”-transforming already tense Moscow-Kyiv relations into open conflict. The war continues to this day.
