Six Israeli Soldiers Injured Fleeing Beit Jin, Syria + Video

According too the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, the Israeli army announced that six of its soldiers were wounded during clashes with Syrian youths in the town of Beit jinn near Damascus. Three of the injured are reported to be in serious condition.
The clashes began when Israeli forces entered the town and surrounded Syrian youths.
the Israeli army claimed that troops from Brigade 210 had launched an operation to arrest individuals affiliated with the Islamic faction in Beit Jinn.
Israel further alleged these individuals participated in opposed actions against Israeli forces.
The army stated that armed men opened fire on its forces, prompting a response supported by aerial cover. Several suspects were detained and some armed assailants were killed. The operation ended with six soldiers injured and multiple saboteurs killed during the confrontation.
Channel 12 TV reported that Israel’s air force was unable to intervene earlier due to the proximity of its troops to local residents inside Beit Jinn.
Accordingly, Hebrew-language site Walla emphasized that after heavy fighting broke out between Israeli troops and locals, Israeli forces retreated from Beit Jinn, abandoning their vehicles. These vehicles were subsequently targeted by airstrikes from Israel’s air force.
Syria sources reported that residents of Beit Jinn confronted invading Israeli soldiers early this morning. During intense fighting, they inflicted heavy damage on Israeli forces. As an inevitable result, Israel resorted to airpower to bombard the town. The attack caused casualties among local residents who were either killed or wounded during these strikes.
