Damascus Condemns Israeli Regime’s Attack on Syria

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, affiliated with the self-declared Joulani government, issued a statement condemning the occupation forces’ assault on the Beit Jinn area as a brutal and deliberate act following their operational failure. The ministry described it as a full-scale war crime.
The statement said the occupying forces committed a horrific crime, killing more than 10 civilians, including women and children. Their continued attacks on residential areas have caused widespread displacement of Beit Jinn residents.
It further held Israeli authorities fully responsible for this risky aggression, resulting casualties, and destruction. The continuation of such criminal assaults threatens regional security and stability.
The ministry called on the UN Security Council, United Nations, and Arab League to act promptly to halt repeated aggressions by Zionist occupiers against the Syrian people.
It added that Syria remains committed to its legitimate right to defend itself and its people through all legal means. Such atrocities only strengthen Syria’s opposition to all forms of occupation and aggression.
Earlier today, Al-Ikhbariya reported Israeli army helicopters flying over Beit Jinn in rural Damascus.
The same source also reported that two tanks and four military vehicles entered Beit Jinn’s outskirts near Damascus.
Meanwhile,Syria’s Relief and Rescue Organization stated rescue teams still cannot access Beit Jinn to assist the wounded.
The organization explained that occupying forces continue targeting any movement at entry points into this area, making it impossible for aid groups to operate there-a situation threatening civilian lives.
An Al-Ikhbariya reporter confirmed 13 killed and 25 injured due to Israel’s attack on Beit Jinn town.
In the early hours of Friday morning, an Israeli military group entered Beit Jinn town. unlike previous incidents, local youth resisted this incursion fiercely. In surprise counterattack actions against Israeli forces, six soldiers were seriously injured-blood traces remain visible on the streets.
