Death Toll from Hong Kong Blaze Doubles
Media reports indicate that the death toll from the massive Hong Kong fire has more than doubled since yesterday.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Reuters reported that the number of fatalities from the devastating fire in Hong Kong residential towers has risen to 128.
The report states that 200 people remain missing following the blaze.
Yesterday, local newspaper South China Morning Post reported that the death toll had reached 55 at that time.
The massive fire broke out on wednesday in high-rise residential buildings in Tai Po district in northern Hong Kong.
