Syrians Protest Against Israel; Israeli Forces Open Fire on Crowd

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shahab, the Zionist attack in the Beit Jinn area killed and injured several Syrian civilians, including women and children. This atrocity provoked widespread anger among Syrians, leading to a large demonstration in Damascus hours earlier in support of Beit Jinn’s residents and condemning the Zionist regime.
Meanwhile, Syrian sources reported that today Zionist soldiers opened fire on Syrian citizens in al-Hamidiya village near Quneitra countryside.
According to reports, these Syrians were returning home after participating in a march supporting Syria’s territorial integrity and opposing Zionist crimes in Khan Arnabah when they were attacked by occupying forces.
The occupiers also prevented Syrian civilians from entering the area.
Hours earlier, Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs affiliated with the self-declared Jolani government issued a statement condemning the occupiers’ attack on beit Jinn as brutal, purposeful, and constituting a full-scale war crime.
The statement said that occupying soldiers committed a horrific crime by sacrificing more than 10 civilians-including women and children. They caused massive displacement among Beit Jinn residents due to ongoing assaults on residential areas.
In the early hours of Friday morning, an Israeli military group entered Beit Jinn city.
Unlike previous incidents, this time young residents resisted strongly, resulting in six Israeli soldiers being seriously wounded.
