Naim Qassem: Israel’s Aim in Assassinating Martyr Al-Tabatabai Has Failed and Will Fail
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Manar, Hezbollah Secretary General Na’im Qassem, during a memorial ceremony for martyr Haitham Al-Tabatabai, emphasized that this revered martyr left a important impact during a critical historical period. He combined his deep faith with strategic vision. Over four years, Martyr Al-Tabatabai advanced the special forces project and stood firm against the Zionist regime’s aggression in 2006 in the Khyam region. The Zionist enemy’s goal in assassinating this prominent figure was to destroy troop morale. Though, despite his loss, Martyr Al-Tabatabai played a crucial professional role in recent battles against the Zionist enemy. This objective has not been achieved and will never be realized as we continue steadfastly on the same path.
qassem added: We operate openly while the zionist enemy acts with ease through coordination with US intelligence services and also Western and Arab countries. Addressing the Zionist enemy directly,he stated that we will persist in our resistance. Martyr Al-Tabatabai also made a clear impact on the battlefield in Yemen by traveling there to train forces and earning great admiration from Yemenis. Losing this martyr is an immense blow; however, through his sacrifice he attained ultimate success and fulfilled his purpose. Although we have sacrificed thousands of martyrs, at every stage we have rebuilt our strength and powerfully replaced commanders.
