Saudi Arabia Appeals to Security Council Against the Zionist Regime
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign affairs condemned the blatant attack by Israeli forces on the Beit Jin area near Damascus, according to the English service of webangah News Agency, citing Rosia al-Youm via Mehr News Agency.
The statement declared that Riyadh firmly opposes all Israeli aggressions against Syria and efforts to undermine the country’s security and stability.
It further called on the international community and members of the UN Security Council to take action against Israel’s repeated violations of Syrian sovereignty and attacks on villages and border areas. The statement emphasized that all international resolutions and laws protecting Syria’s sovereignty and security must be enforced.
Notably, Israel’s incursion into Beit Jin in southern Syria resulted in at least 20 casualties.
