Cuba Condemns U.S. Efforts to Overthrow Venezuela’s Legitimate Government
The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, denounced electromagnetic jamming operations in the Caribbean, particularly over Venezuelan airspace.
He stated that this jamming results from an aggressive and unusual U.S. military presence in the Caribbean. according to Rodríguez, Washington’s interference in the region’s airspace is part of escalating hostilities aimed at toppling Caracas’ legitimate government.
Meanwhile, former U.S. President Donald Trump announced earlier that all airspace above and surrounding Venezuela will be closed until further notice.
Agence France-Presse quoted President Trump justifying this hostile measure by claiming that airlines, drug traffickers, and human smugglers must consider Venezuelan airspace entirely off limits.
