Trump Declares Venezuela’s Airspace Closed

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, U.S. President Donald Trump declared that all airspace over and around Venezuela will be closed until further notice.
The French news agency AFP quoted the U.S. president explaining this opposed measure by stating: ”Airlines, drug traffickers, and human traffickers must consider Venezuelan airspace fully closed.”
Since september, American forces have targeted more than 20 boats allegedly used for drug trafficking in the Caribbean Sea and eastern Pacific Ocean, resulting in at least 83 deaths. The United States has also deployed the worldS largest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald Ford, along with other ships and fighter jets to the Caribbean region-officially designating this as part of its claimed anti-narcotics operations.
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro condemned these actions as a threat aimed at overthrowing him and seizing his country’s oil reserves.
Trump has sent mixed signals regarding a possible invasion of Venezuelan territory; he concurrently authorized covert CIA operations in the country while reaffirming that military intervention remains an option.
