Ukrainian Delegation Travels to the U.S. for Peace Talks
Ukraine’s president announced the visit of a delegation to the United States to discuss Washington’s proposed peace plan.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu Agency via Mehr News Agency, Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine’s president, announced on social media that a Ukrainian delegation is traveling to the United states to consult on former President Trump’s peace proposal.
The delegation is led by Rustem Umerov, Secretary of Ukraine’s Security and defence Council. Its mission is to explore measures aimed at ending the war with Russia.
Zelensky added that the Ukrainian and American delegations will meet tomorrow, Sunday. He saeid he awaits the outcome of this meeting eagerly and affirmed that Ukraine continues its constructive cooperation with the US. The results of Geneva negotiations in America are expected soon.
