The Washington Post Claims U.S. Planes Flew Near Venezuela
according to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency,the American outlet The Washington Post reported on Saturday,quoting informed sources,that U.S.military aircraft almost constantly patrol international airspace near Venezuela.
The report alleges that these flights are conducted under orders from Washington authorities for reconnaissance and intelligence gathering purposes.
Separately, Russia Today referenced The Washington Post in stating that if Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela’s president, succumbs to mounting pressure from Washington and chooses to leave Caracas, Turkey may emerge as his most realistic refuge.
Meanwhile, the American newspaper The New York Times previously claimed-citing confidential sources-that the White House is considering potential strikes against targets inside Venezuela. U.S. intelligence agencies have reportedly provided facts on locations of drug facilities in both Venezuela and Colombia.
