Egypt Emphasizes Gaza Ceasefire Implementation and Establishment of Palestinian State

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Ma’an via Mehr News Agency, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement affirming that the Palestinian people have the right to determine thier own destiny and witness the formation of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders.
The statement described this right not as a political demand but as a past reality with recognized international legitimacy.
Egypt also stressed the importance of implementing the terms of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and ensuring unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid into the territory.
The ministry added that it will continue its efforts to restore calm and stability in Gaza and alleviate the humanitarian crisis there.
During a meeting with a European Union foreign affairs representative, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty reiterated his country’s opposition to any mechanisms or actions aimed at separating the west Bank from Gaza.
