Israeli Commander Promoted After Targeting Two Palestinian Youths

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shihab via Mehr News Agency, the Hebrew-language newspaper haaretz reported that Itamar Ben-gvir, Israel’s Minister of Internal Security, visited the military base where soldiers responsible for killing two Palestinian youths in Jenin were stationed.
During this visit, he ordered that the commander of these soldiers be promoted.
Ben-Gvir had informed this Israeli commander that he would receive a promotion for targeting these two Palestinian youths in Jenin.
The minister’s move aims to encourage occupying forces to kill Palestinian civilians without cause as a path to advancement. He assured Israelis that their gunfire at Palestinians carries no legal consequences or judicial prosecution.
