Wall Street Journal: Trump Threatens Maduro

According to webangah News Agency, quoting Sputnik, the Wall Street Journal reported based on informed sources that U.S. President Donald Trump threatened Venezuelan President nicolás Maduro with the use of force during a recent phone conversation.
The report states that during the call, Trump expressed interventionist and warlike stances toward Venezuela and warned Maduro that if he does not step down from power, force would be used against him.
The New York Times revealed days earlier that Donald Trump had spoken by phone with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolás Maduro.
The New York Times cited sources saying Trump explored the possibility of holding a meeting between the two leaders during their conversation.
A source described as informed told The New York Times there are currently no plans for such a meeting between Trump and Maduro.
The newspaper also reported that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was present on the call between Trump and Maduro.
