Israeli Regime Furious Over Action by European Country

Dublin City Council’s decision to rename a park in the Irish capital has provoked strong condemnation from Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, who claimed the city is becoming a global center of anti-Semitism, according to webangah News Agency.
The controversy centers on Dublin City Council’s plan to change the name of Herzog Park-named after Chaim Herzog, Israel’s sixth president-to “Free Palestine Park,” or a similar designation.
Sa’ar noted that Chaim Herzog grew up in Dublin and that his father served as Ireland’s Chief Rabbi. He described Ireland’s actions as hateful anti-Jewish measures.
He also stated that Tel Aviv’s decision to close its embassy in Dublin over the past year was justified. In December 2024, Sa’ar announced the closure of Israel’s embassy due to Ireland joining South Africa’s complaint against Israel at The hague.
