Ukrainian Delegation Meets American Officials in Florida, USA
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing reuters via Mehr News Agency, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit Ukraine today alongside Steve wiethehat, the special presidential envoy, and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law.
The meeting will take place in Florida. Reuters did not provide further details about the discussions’ content.
Earlier White House press office schedules indicated that president Donald Trump would return to washington from his Mar-a-Lago residence later on Sunday.
Previously, ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a delegation from Ukraine would travel to the United States to consult on Washington’s proposed peace plan.
Zelensky stated that this delegation is led by Rustem Umurov, Secretary of Ukraine’s Security and Defense Council, tasked with taking steps toward ending the war with Russia.
Zelensky wrote: ”I am eagerly awaiting the outcomes of this meeting. Ukraine will continue constructive cooperation with the United States. We look forward to confirming results from Geneva negotiations in America.”
