Qatar Urges Israel Not to Obstruct Second Phase of Gaza Ceasefire Agreement
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shihab News Agency, Qatar has called on Israel not to block the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire plan in Gaza.
Majid Al Ansari, spokesperson for qatars Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said Sunday that the issue of two remaining bodies in Gaza is very critically importent. However,Israel should not use this matter as a pretext to delay enforcing the ceasefire agreement.
He added that Palestinian parties continue their efforts to recover thes two Israeli bodies, aiming to prevent any potential obstruction.
The Qatari foreign ministry spokesman emphasized that Doha and its regional partners are striving to move from phase one to phase two. This transition aims to help achieve a lasting peace that comprehensively ends hostilities in Gaza.
Moreover, he stated that maintaining the ceasefire long enough is essential for reaching a political solution with cooperation from all regional actors, the international community, and the United States.
