Russia Condemns Ukraine’s Attacks on Oil Tankers and Energy Facilities

According too the English section of webangah News Agency, citing TASS, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, issued a statement declaring: “We strongly condemn these terrorist attacks against oil tankers.”
She added that Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry has protested this third “aggressive” act targeting the Caspian Pipeline Consortium infrastructure. Turkish partners have also expressed their concerns regarding the situation.
Highlighting the importance of these infrastructures in ensuring global energy stability, Zakharova stressed: “The civilian energy facilities targeted play a crucial role in global energy security and have never been subject to international restrictions.”
zakharova further warned that continued attacks threaten maritime security in the Black Sea and vital energy transit routes, perhaps leading to wider repercussions for global energy markets.
In recent weeks, Russia has repeatedly accused Ukraine of attempting to target critical energy infrastructure across various maritime regions. Moscow claims these actions escalate tensions and impede diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing conflict.
