Rubio: We Expect Further Progress in Ukraine Talks
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, reported that US Secretary of state Marco rubio stated: “We expect further progress in the Ukraine negotiations.”
He added, “We want the war in Ukraine to end. Ending the war is the first step toward creating a path for a stable and independent Ukraine.”
this comes as Marco Rubio, alongside President Biden’s special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, is scheduled to meet with a Ukrainian delegation today, Sunday, November 30.
The meeting will take place in Florida.
The US Secretary of State’s remarks about Washington’s desire to end hostilities come amid repeated acknowledgments by former President Trump that NATO member countries have been financing arms supplies needed by Ukraine for warfare-and that Washington facilitates delivering those weapons to Kyiv.
