Aboul Gheit: Palestinian Resistance Has Led to Unprecedented Isolation of Israel
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Al-Nashra via Mehr News Agency,Ahmed Aboul Gheit,Secretary-General of the Arab League,said that the Israeli occupiers have shown their brutal and criminal nature during the past two years.They displayed peak savagery through mass killings, destruction, and causing hunger.
Speaking on Sunday on International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, he described Israel’s destruction and killing of children as a planned effort to fully erase a society and eliminate any prospect for establishing a Palestinian state. He emphasized that these events were neither accidental nor temporary.
Aboul Gheit affirmed that the Palestinian people stood firm, leading to an unprecedented level of international isolation for Israel.
Regarding International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, he highlighted that it is not merely symbolic but marks a turning point in renewing global solidarity with Palestine.
The Arab League chief also pointed out an unprecedented escalation in Israeli attacks over the past two years.
He concluded by asserting that the Palestinian cause remains alive. The recognition of Palestine by 157 countries-including some previously hostile towards Palestine-signals history’s movement toward establishing a Palestinian state rather than prolonging occupation.
