Maduro: We Will Not Yield to Any Extortion or Threats

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via almasirah, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro responded to escalating tensions with the United States by asserting that Washington aims to seize Venezuela’s vast oil reserves, which are the largest on Earth.
Maduro added that the U.S.has deployed multiple military units in the Caribbean region, including more than 14 warships and 15,000 active personnel.
He stated that American forces have conducted over 20 bombing operations against small vessels, resulting in the unlawful deaths of more than 80 people.
The Venezuelan president warned that the world fully understands the damaging aftermath caused by U.S. military interventions and those carried out by its allies against other oil-producing nations.
Nicolás Maduro emphasized: “We will not yield to any form of extortion or threats and will remain steadfast in defending our resources.”
