Nawaf Salam: Israel Will Continue Intensifying Military Actions Against Lebanon
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,quoting Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera,Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam emphasized the persistent tense security situation in southern Lebanon. He said that recent weeks have seen a wave of clashes and increased Israeli military operations against lebanon, a trend expected to continue in the future.
Salam added that the Lebanese armed forces are expected to successfully complete their critical mission of containment and disarmament in the area south of the Litani river by the end of December this year.
On Sunday afternoon, November 22, 2025, Israeli forces struck a residential apartment on Al-arish Street in the Dahiyeh district south of Beirut. The attack caused extensive destruction and resulted in the death of Haytham Ali Al-Tabtaba’i, a prominent Hezbollah commander.
