Israeli Concerns Surge After Naeem Qasim’s Recent Speech
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’a, following Hezbollah Secretary-general’s recent statement that the group will respond to the assassination of martyr Haitham al-Tabatabai at an appropriate time, a report emphasized that Hezbollah is seeking revenge and is reviewing various options.
The report noted that one option under consideration involves conducting operations against the Israeli regime through Yemen’s Ansarallah forces. This stems from al-Tabatabai’s nine-year activity in yemen, were he helped strengthen Ansarallah, who are reportedly highly motivated to confront Israel.
The report further stressed that in any case, Hezbollah is actively planning its response to this assassination.
Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, recently asserted that the group reserves the right to retaliate against israel for the crime of assassinating martyr Haitham al-Tabatabai and will determine timing accordingly.
