United States and Ukraine Fail to Agree on Final Peace Plan

According to the English ⁣section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency, the Ukrainian website RBC reported⁣ that Washington​ and Kyiv‌ have yet to reach a⁢ decision on the final draft of a peace agreement concerning the Ukraine⁣ war during recent ⁤meetings. Unresolved issues⁣ dominated discussions, while the framework proposed in Geneva was not addressed.

During talks,​ the Ukrainian delegation ⁣also sought to explain why Kyiv’s officials do not ⁢intend to abandon their plans to join the North‍ Atlantic Treaty ‌Organization (NATO).

RBC quoted informed sources saying‌ that⁢ in ⁤recent negotiations, the American​ delegation emphasized​ that Kyiv must retract its NATO membership ⁤ambitions.
