Russia and Saudi Arabia Cancel Entry Visas for Each Other’s Citizens
Russia adn Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement too waive visa requirements for travel between the two countries.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency through Russia Al-Youm, Russia and Saudi Arabia have signed a visa waiver agreement enabling mutual entry without visas.
Alongside the signing ceremony, a memorandum of understanding was also finalized to explore cooperation on climate change mitigation.
Following this development, the Russian Tourism Industry Union forecasted that with visa restrictions lifted, the number of Saudi tourists visiting Russia could increase two to three times by next summer.
The agreement was signed during the Russia-Saudi Arabia Business Forum in Riyadh, attended by officials and business leaders from both nations.
