Attack on Russian Ship in the Black Sea

According to the English section‌ of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News ‍Agency and Sputnik, officials from ⁣Turkey’s Directorate General of Maritime Affairs announced on tuesday that a ship traveling ‍from Russia ⁤to georgia was attacked.

They added that the vessel was carrying sunflower oil and came under attack 80 ‌miles off the Turkish coast in the Black Sea.

The officials noted that ​after the attack, ⁣the ship headed toward northern Turkey and confirmed that it’s ‌crew remained safe.

On November​ 28, two oil tankers ‌named Kairos and Virat,⁢ flying the Gambian flag, were also attacked near Turkish shores. These tankers were en ⁤route to Russia when they were ‍targeted.The Kremlin ⁤spokesperson described these attacks ⁢in Turkish territorial waters⁣ as ​indicative of Ukraine’s nature.
