Trump Claims Trade Policies End Wars, Touts Economic Achievements

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, reiterated familiar self-praise, claiming that his trade policies are ending wars and that tariffs are a component of national security.
Trump asserted that his administration secured $18 trillion in investment commitments in just 10 months, contrasting it with what he claimed was only $1 trillion brought in by the Biden administration over four years.
He further stated that his administration inherited the worst inflationary crisis in the nation’s history, adding that efforts to reduce inflation are ongoing and that the prices of numerous products have decreased. He claimed unprecedented profits from tariffs imposed on countries allegedly exploiting the U.S. Furthermore, Trump stated that illegal border crossings have reached their lowest levels, with no illegal immigrants entering the country in six months.
Acknowledging the sale of arms to European countries and NATO members for shipment to Kyiv, Trump claimed efforts are underway to find a resolution to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He stated that he ended eight wars and that the Russia-Ukraine war would be the ninth. He suggested he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize for ending each war, but added that he wasn’t greedy. He cited figures of 27,000 deaths in the Russia-Ukraine conflict last month, calling it tragic.
