Russian Forces Down Dozens of Ukrainian Drones, Destroy Control Points

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian forces have reportedly destroyed numerous Ukrainian drones and control points in the last 24 hours. Leonid Sharov, head of the press center for Russia’s West combat group, stated that his unit downed six fixed-wing drones and 52 Vampire-type hexacopters.
Sharov added that 13 electronic warfare stations, 32 drone control points, and four field ammunition depots were also discovered and destroyed. In a separate statement, Dmitry Miskov, an officer at the press center of the East combat group, said his group eliminated five enemy drone control points.
Miskov further noted that strike drone operators destroyed an ammunition depot, a supply depot, a Starlink satellite communications station, and a fixed-wing enemy drone in an operational action. These military operations and drone attacks continue along the front lines between Ukraine and Russia.
Moscow recently hosted a high-profile peace negotiation meeting. A U.S. delegation led by Steve Witkoff, Special Representative to U.S. President Donald Trump, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Details of the meeting have not been disclosed.
Prior to the meeting in Moscow, the American delegation met with Ukrainian officials in Florida, a meeting described as fruitful by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. President Donald Trump unveiled a 28-point plan for resolving the Ukraine crisis several weeks ago, sparking discussions among European and American officials. One controversial aspect of the plan involves ceding parts of Ukraine to Russia.
