According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a U.S. envoy allegedly suggested bombing the funeral procession of the late Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The political correspondent for Channel 14, an Israeli broadcaster, reported that the American envoy, Morgan Ortagus, proposed the strike to Tel Aviv during a visit to occupied territories before the Beirut ceremony.
The funeral procession was attended by a large number of Lebanese citizens, including women and children. During the event, Israeli warplanes flew over Beirut.
