Germany Concerned by High Casualty Rate in Gaza, Urges Adherence to Ceasefire

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the German Foreign Ministry issued a statement today expressing concern over the rising death toll in Gaza. The statement, reported by Al Jazeera, urged all parties to adhere to the ceasefire in Gaza and avoid actions that could jeopardize it.
Berlin further stated that progress must be made in rebuilding hospitals and water, sewage, and electricity infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. The ministry added that intensive diplomatic contacts are underway with Israel and regional countries to maintain calm in the Gaza Strip.
