US Imposes New Sanctions on Venezuela Targeting Alleged Terrorist-Linked Entities
The United States Treasury Department announced new sanctions against Venezuela, targeting entities and individuals allegedly linked to the Tren de Aragua (TdA), which Washington has designated as a foreign terrorist organization.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Treasury Department has imposed new sanctions targeting entities and individuals connected to Venezuela. The Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced the sanctions, focusing on key affiliate companies of the Tren de Aragua (TdA), which is listed as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO).
OFAC stated that it is also sanctioning five other key affiliate companies linked to Tren de Aragua and one entity located in South America.
