Romania Prioritizes Ukraine Peace Agreement, Cites Russian Aggression

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Toiu said in an interview with Al Jazeera on Wednesday that reaching a peace agreement in Ukraine is a priority for Romania.
Toiu noted that a high-level meeting was held between NATO foreign ministers, with the United States also in attendance. Speaking on the matter, the Romanian Foreign Minister claimed, “We have witnessed recent Russian aggression, and this does not indicate a country that wants to negotiate!”
The United States Ambassador was present at the meeting in Brussels, Toiu added. She stated that European countries are directly affected by the current negotiations regarding peace in Ukraine and stressed the importance of making progress in those talks to reach a resolution.
