According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, IndiGo, the largest airline in India, has canceled over 70 flights. The cancellations stem from staff shortages, technical issues, and airport congestion.
The Press Trust of India (PTI) reported the cancellations, citing a statement from IndiGo. The airline has reportedly been facing a critical shortage of crew members due to flight time limitations.
Local media outlets report that weekly rest periods for airline crew members within the company have been increased to 48 hours to comply with time constraints.
