PFLP Condemns Khan Younis Tent Attack as Genocide; Gaza Aid: Strike Hit Safe Zone

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has issued a statement condemning the Zionist army’s attack on refugee tents in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, describing it as a “cowardly attack” that led to widespread fires and the death of numerous civilians, including children.
The PFLP emphasized that the attack constitutes a clear act of genocide and fascist state terrorism, violating all international laws. The group added that the assault demonstrates the occupying regime’s insistence on violating ceasefire agreements and is a deliberate attempt to reignite the situation in Gaza.
The PFLP also stated that the United States’ support and alignment with these policies makes the Washington administration a direct partner in these crimes. Concluding their statement, the PFLP called on mediators and guarantor countries to immediately act to halt this dangerous trend and establish binding mechanisms to curb the Zionist regime’s aggressions.
In response to the latest Zionist attack on refugee tents in Khan Younis, the Gaza relief organization reported that victims of the Al-Mawasi Khan Younis attack were targeted in a so-called safe zone. Mahmoud Basal, spokesman for the Gaza rescue organization, stated that those killed in the Zionist regime army’s attack on the Al-Mawasi Khan Younis area in the southern Gaza Strip were not in a conflict zone but in a temporary housing camp that the Zionists had declared safe.
Basal questioned how many more crimes must occur for everyone to understand that what is happening in Gaza is not a temporary reaction but a planned attack and direct killing of civilians. He stressed that this event is not an isolated incident but a new chapter in an ongoing humanitarian disaster that is expanding daily.
The Kuwait Specialized Hospital in Gaza reported that five people, including two children, were killed in the drone bombing of refugee tents in the Al-Mawasi Khan Younis area the previous night. Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that the Zionist regime’s drones carried out four airstrikes in the west of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, resulting in several injuries among Palestinians.
