Hamas Condemns Israeli Actions in Gaza as ‘Genocide’ After CNN Report

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas has reacted strongly to a CNN report detailing the Israeli army’s alleged mistreatment of Palestinian bodies in Gaza. The report claims that Israeli forces disrespected the corpses of Palestinians killed while attempting to receive humanitarian aid, leaving dozens of bodies exposed and preventing their removal.
In a statement, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas asserted that the CNN revelations provide further documented evidence of a systematic genocide perpetrated by Zionists against the Palestinian people. The organization also characterized the alleged actions as indicative of a deliberate strategy to transform humanitarian aid into traps of mass death.
Hamas stated that the actions of the Israeli military are not isolated incidents but rather organized war crimes and attacks carried out in full view of the world. The statement accuses the Israeli forces of blatant disregard for international law and basic human rights, facilitated by the complicity of the U.S. government and certain Western capitals, which Hamas claims are obstructing international legal pursuit of Israeli war criminals, particularly Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Hamas called upon the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice, and all competent international tribunals to investigate the alleged crimes. The organization urged these bodies to include the incidents in their documentation of Israeli offenses, ultimately holding the leaders of the “occupying regime” accountable for their actions against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
