Hamas Warns ‘Traitors’ Will Meet Fate of Alleged Israeli Collaborator

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas issued a press statement emphasizing that the fate of Yasser Abu Shabab, described as a “deceased agent and mercenary of the occupiers,” awaits anyone who betrays their nation and becomes a tool for occupying forces.
Hamas asserted that the criminal actions of Abu Shabab and his gang represented a clear departure from the national and social ranks of the Palestinian people. The movement commended the families, tribes, and clans who disavowed Abu Shabab, withdrawing tribal and social support from him and anyone involved in attacking the Palestinian people or collaborating with the occupiers, stressing that this isolated group only represents itself.
The statement noted that the Israeli occupiers’ exploitation of “socially and morally bankrupt gangs outside the law,” transforming them into tools to realize “illusory plans” in the Gaza Strip, reflects the occupiers’ “state of helplessness and inability” in the face of the legendary steadfastness of the heroic Palestinian people and their valiant resistance.
Hamas warned that the fate of anyone who endangers their nation’s security and serves the enemy will be “falling into the dustbin of history and losing all respect and standing in their society.”
Hamas affirmed that the unity of the Palestinian people, with all its families, tribes, clans, and national institutions, will always serve as a safeguard against attempts to disrupt the internal fabric of society. It added that Palestine will never become a haven for criminal gangs or suspicious schemes, regardless of who is behind them.
Israeli media reported that Yasser Abu Shabab, the leader of militants working with the Zionist regime in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, was killed along with several of his aides.
