Local media outlets reported the fire originated in the baggage conveyor belt area shortly before the complete disembarkation of passengers from the Sao Paulo flight, with smoke quickly spreading into the aircraft.

Passengers were still inside the plane when the incident occurred, according to released images. Airport personnel promptly initiated an emergency evacuation. Local authorities and LATAM Brazil officials responded quickly to the event, confirming the safe evacuation of all passengers and crew members. No casualties have been reported.
