UN Security Council Representatives Visit Lebanon After Syria Trip

Representatives from the 15 member countries of the United Nations Security Council commenced a visit to Lebanon on Friday, following the conclusion of their trip to Syria. The delegation is slated to meet with key Lebanese leaders.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, representatives from the 15 member countries of the United Nations Security Council began their visit to Lebanon on Friday, following the conclusion of their trip to Syria.

During their visit to Lebanon, the Security Council delegation is scheduled to meet with the President, Prime Minister, and Speaker of Parliament. Further meetings are planned with the Lebanese Army Commander and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The members of the Security Council delegation have expressed their support for Lebanon’s stability through adherence to international resolutions. They emphasized their countries’ readiness to assist the Lebanese Army in completing its deployment and enhancing its capabilities. The delegation also underscored their support for Lebanon’s formal accession to the Joint Investigation Mechanism (JIM).
